Summary
William Frankena: Ethics
In addition to Kant's Ethics, in contemporary ethics the so-called meta-ethical or analytical starting points. This book was written precisely against that background. It is the task of analytical ethics to first clarify concepts. But Frankena didn't stop there. The first thing that is valuable about this book is that it does not bypass the old ethical tradition (Plato, Aristotle), but also that it is not tied to any metaphysical assumptions in its argumentation.
