Summary
Predrag Finci: The First Essential
Predrag Finci talks about the beginnings of existence and thought, different dimensions and what is behind existence. However, this is not the usual discussion about the early Greek philosophers (pre-Socratics), but a combination of stories about the first philosophers and the author's fantasies about those same philosophers. The book is written in clear, precise language. It is full of interesting, almost cinematic descriptions, witty anecdotes about philosophers and beautiful, thoughtful statements. A simultaneously poetic and imaginative book. First, a nice introduction to early philosophy and an approach to big philosophical and life questions is essential. Predrag Finci is a philosopher and writer. He was a professor and researcher at several universities. So far, he has published twenty-five books. His books and texts have been translated into several languages. He lives in London.
