Marko Lopušina: The Black Book - Censorship in Serbia 1945 - 2015
Today there are different theories about how censorship, that ugly word and symbol of repression of the mind, suddenly became part of the political vocabulary in 2014, on which many people cut themselves. At that time, representatives of the OSCE and the EU in Belgrade and Brussels, as well as Serbian parliamentarians, commissioners for justice and trust, members of the opposition, press associations and part of the public, mentioned censorship in Serbia as an evil that overshadows the freedom of speech and the speech of thinking people. Serbia is accused of implementing state censorship, shutting down electronic social networks, dismissing editors, arresting people from Facebook, hacking portals and trying to hide the truth from its people. - There is no censorship in Serbia! - Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić defended himself and asked for an apology from the European representatives for unfounded accusations.
