Selimović Meša

Mehmed Meša Selimović jedan je od najvećih srpskih i bošnjačkih pisaca rođen u Tuzli 1910. godine. Najpoznatiji M.M. Selimovićevi romani su "Tvrđava" i "Derviš i smrt" koji mu je ujedno bio i prvi roman. Osvajatelj je mnogih književnih nagrada kroz drugi niz godina. Osim pisanja književnih djela i romana uređivao je i list Brazde te predavao na Višoj pedagoškoj školi gdje je nakon toga postao docent za književnost na Filozofskom fakultetu Sarajevo.
