Šenoa August

August Šenoa (1938. - 1881.) bio je hrvatski književnik, novinar i kulturni radnik, te jedan od najvažnijih autora hrvatskog realizma. U njegovom bogatom opusu nalaze se brojni romani, pripovijetke, pjesme i drame. Među najpoznatijim djelima izdvajaju se "Zlatarovo zlato", "Seljačka buna" i "Čuvaj se senjske ruke". Šenoa u svojim djelima prikazuje društvene probleme i povijesne događaje kroz prizmu svakodnevnog života običnih ljudi.
