Robert Lawrence Stine autor rođen 1943. poznat još kao i Jovial Bob Stine i Eric Affabee. Američki novelist, pisac kratkih priča, televizijski producent, izvršni urednik i scenarist. Napisao je mnoge dječje priče, a svoju prvu knjigu objavio je 1986. godine. Knjige R.L Stine su poznate kroz veliki dio vremena, a neke od poznatih su: Polusestra, Noć vještica i Miss maturalne zabave.
