Archaeological Lexicon of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AL BiH) represents the sum of encyclopedic knowledge about archaeological localities in the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. AL BiH is a seven-volume edition of Zemaljski_muzej">Zemaljski_muzej">Zemaljski Muzej Bosnia and Herzegovina published in Sarajevo 1988.. The encyclopedia is organized in three volumes.
Volume I: 242 pages. + attachments
Volume II: 206 pages. + attachments
Volume III: 338 pages. + attachments
They are dedicated to archaeological sites from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the earliest times until the end of the Middle Ages. Together with the general part and the list of localities, the Lexicon also contains thematic maps of all 25 regions.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is divided into 25 regions. The division is based on the municipalities that existed within SRBiH:
