Summary
Friedrich Nietzsche: Merciless Thoughts
When Friedrich Nietzsche in the nineties of the XIX. century, first in Naumburg, and then in Weimar, slowly moving towards death with a darkened mind, the first traces of the stupor that his writings would cause her were already evident. And this astonishment lasts until our days, and in a changed form it always appears anew. Behind this lies the scandalous character of his opinion, an opinion which, although well known, is not even remotely known. Nietzsche's poetic and philosophical work lies like a heavy stone at the entrance to the second decade of the 21st century. century and obstructs our passage: it is not easy to pass him or bypass him, it is not possible to quickly jump over him.
The selection and translation of aphorisms or sentences from that work offered here is intended to enable the widest circle of domestic readers to feel something of the explosive power of his speech, his opinions and his singing. Because each of Nietzsche's written sentences has its place in his life history, it bears witness to it by itself.
