Summary
Nikola Mikić: Redeemer and Healer
As a psychiatrist and essayist for the cultural contribution of "Politics", in the past period I dealt with the problem of Jordan Peterson and Gabor Maté - that is, their texts - from a post-structuralist perspective (this text owes a lot to Roland Barthes' book *Now, Furies, Loyola*, which was translated by Ivan Čolović in 1979). In order not to trivialize the matter, it was necessary to approach the mentioned authors and their self-help manuals in a somewhat specific way: both from the point of view of my profession (psychiatry), and through a kind of language game. It should be noted that in their books, Peterson and Maté embarked on a heroic journey, as defined by Vladimir Propp, which naturally imposed a dramatic structure as a unifying composition of a journey along the paths of redemption and healing.
