Summary
Georges Poulet: Metamorphoses of the circle
Some philosophical or scientific-critical works manage to awaken, in the reader's spirit, a feeling of mental beauty, which brings them closer to great poetic works. They have a power to delight that is in no way inferior to the power of freer literary words. Because they come from the same freedom, which submission to the search for truth only makes more precious. The Meatmorphoses of Georges Poulet's Circle are one of its most beautiful examples.
