Summary
Željko Kaluđerović: Pre-Socratic Understanding of Justice
The book "Pre-Socratic Understanding of Justice" was created as a result of many years of research and study of justice, one of the key concepts of political philosophy and ethics among the Hellenes, but also a comprehensive cosmic principle of metaphysical proportions. The publication of this book was initiated by work on the author's doctoral dissertation with the intention of carrying out a fundamental and deepened recitation of the idea of justice, in all its multidimensionality and various manifestations, through the centuries-long evolution of Hellenic thought and philosophy. Although it temporally follows the book "Hellenic concept of justice", this book logically precedes it. More precisely, the contents of the two books complement and overlap with the intention that through an adequate selection of thought characters, as well as an appropriate synthesis of relevant material, taking into account the unique background, a coherent whole of presentation, understanding and conception of justice is realized in the range from Homer to Aristotle.
