Since there is no similar work in our area, and there is no newer title in the field covered, not even in the international framework, we believe that you will recognize the book as a useful manual in your daily work.

43 leading domestic experts in the field of clinical medicine and pharmacology participated in the preparation of the textbook. The textbook is intended for undergraduate studies in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb in English, and postgraduate studies in the Clinical Pharmacology course in our language at all four medical faculties in Croatia and at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Mostar.
