The author of this book, Irislav Dolenec, after many years of work in the field of Croatian numismatics, collected everything in one place, and this book can be considered a kind of manual for historians and numismatists. It will certainly arouse great interest in museums, schools and amateur numismatists. The author examined the collections that are in museum and private ownership, took into account the existing literature and the advice and opinions of respected numismatic experts. He compiled a systematized opus of national numismatics from the beginning to the present day: coins, paper money, labor stamps and private issues of coins - tokens. The value of a coin depends on its preservation and its rarity. With paper money, only unused, excellent and very nicely preserved banknotes are collected.
