Summary
The writer emigrated from Croatia in 1945, and he is one of the greatest who dedicated his works to the fate of the Croatian man in the realization of humanity, morality and individual freedoms. This is how the novel "Bit ćete kao bogovi" was created, in which the writer analyzes the contemporary Croatian man in the maelstrom of events from the creation of the old Yugoslavia until the end of 1945. The writer remained in emigration until his death in 1986, where he continuously engaged in poetry related exclusively to the sea and its mythology. He also wrote very relevant essays: on Montherlant, Valeruj, Stepinac, Meštrović and himself created a work of great value and reputation.
Dedication of Vinko Nikolić to the author.
