She specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and anxiety disorders. She is a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and gives workshops and seminars on the topic of anxiety and stress.

Elizabeth M. Karle, M.B.I., is the Supervisor of Collections Management at the Cushwa-Leighton Library, Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana.

In addition to conducting research for this book, she also has personal experience with anxiety disorders - providing first-hand information on everything that can help people with anxiety disorders. He is originally from Illinois and lives in South Bend, Indiana. She earned degrees or certificates from the University of Notre Dame, Roosevelt University, and Dominican University. She is the author of the book Hosting a Library Mystery.
