In the text "The Future of an Illusion", Freud examines religious representations and their effect on psychic life. The same theme is at the center of the famous text "Moses and Monotheism", with the fact that, now, the attention is more focused on a whole series of cultural conditioning that led to the devastating hatred of the Jews.
