This is an extremely rare book, only a few copies are known that are in Croatian libraries.
HILARION GAŠPAROTI, Pauline preacher and writer (Samobor 1714 - Lepoglava 1762). He wrote sermons and hagiographic works. Gašparoti's book Czvet Szveteh is a real encyclopedic work of Croatian-Kajkavian literature of the 18th century, not only in its scope (4 volumes with a total of 3761 pages), but primarily in its research orientation towards the study of numerous literary and historical sources that served in the creation of the largest Croatian hagiographic anthology. Gašparota dedicated each extensive volume to one statue of the Virgin from the Zagorje sanctuaries, i.e. the statue from Bistrica, Lobor, Veternica and Očura, with accompanying copper engravings with reproductions of the said statues. The beginning of each volume begins with a dedication or selected introductory words in honor of a particular statue in which the Virgin Mary is glorified. The dedication of the entire work to the Virgin Gašparota confirmed the richly developed baroque Marian cult in the Kajkavian literary language.
The copy in question is dedicated to the Mother of God from Lobor.
The etching of the Mother of God of Lobor is missing.
