A book about mythical creatures of Serbian origin: watermen, rusalkas, surenicas, udzudis, talasons, moras, zduhačacs, giants, dwarves, karakonžulas, babarogas and many others. For the first time, five top painters and illustrators (Ivica Stevanović, Miloš Vujanović, Petar Meseldžija, Dragan Bibin and Vanja Todorić) manage to revive these fantastic creatures that are threatened with extinction in different art techniques (oil on canvas, egg tempera). , drawing, watercolor...). At the Book Fair in Belgrade in 2010, the book received the award for the best book for children, as well as the award of the Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts and Designers of Serbia for illustration. In the explanation of the award, the Sajma jury, chaired by writer Dragan Velikić, says, among other things: "This book takes you into the world of wonderful creatures that grandmothers were afraid of and does everything to make children love them!"
