Gilles Deleuze: Postscript on societies of control
Man is no longer a closed man, but a responsible man.
Gilles Deleuze, one of the most influential philosophers of the second half of the 20th century. He wrote about philosophy, literature, fine arts and film, but also about events, desire, ethics and politics - through canonical figures of modern philosophy and art. Deleuze saw philosophy as creating concepts, reflecting on paradoxes, overcoming analytical philosophy. He described his philosophical thought with the phrase "transcendental empiricism".
