Memorial file of the 1st Croatian all-falcon landing in Zagreb
The Croatian Falcon was founded in 1874 in Zagreb, and the founder was Dr. Josip Fon, who is also the first elder of the Croatian Falcon in Zagreb. In 1906, the 1st Croatian All-Socolic Landing was held in Zagreb, and on that occasion a commemorative book was prepared and published, which thoroughly describes the landing itself and its sporting manifestations, as well as the organizational preparations for that event and the social events that accompanied it and were an integral part of it - for example, the arrival of foreign guests, banquets with city and state dignitaries, dances, ceremonial processions, ceremonies, an accompanying exhibition and a conference. The Memorial also summarizes the results of the landing, both in terms of its social significance for Zagreb and Croatia, as well as in financial terms.
