Rene Guénon: The Reign of Quantity and the Signs of the Times
You have so far read some works of Béla Hamvas, who was inspired by R. Guénon and often quoted him, since he considered him one of the greatest spiritual authorities of the 20th century. After the publication of two translations (Crisis of the Modern Age in 2005 and King of the World in 2007, Fabula nova), the book The reign of quantity and the signs of time appeared as the third work of that most significant representative of perennial philosophy, i.e. the philosophical direction of Sophia Perennis, in the Croatian language. worldview, completely contrary to everything that characterizes the modern mentality." (Seyyed Hossein Nasr) The book is primarily intended for spiritual leaders and all sincere spiritual seekers of the pure and noble domains of the Absolute, researchers of saving paths to the sacred Kingdom in this "dark time". Unfortunately, even the religious organizations of our time have often been profaned to such an extent that through their mediation, ascension to true Light has become impossible. Also, the works of R. Guénon cannot provide a definitive answer to all questions, although they did not ossify the catechism, as is the case with some of his Western followers. After explaining the views and ideas about the true essence of the Tradition, it is necessary to move on to the Tradition itself, delve into it and start with the "action of the mind", with dwelling in the Sacred. Embarking on the path of understanding and discovering its secrets means setting out for consecration and spiritual realization. Following René Guénon does not mean neglecting the viewpoints and worldviews adopted until now, but rather deepening them, i.e. exactly what the Tradition calls spiritual realization.
