Ana Maskalan's book is an extremely original and interesting philosophical work about utopia and feminism. The author points out the value of utopia in contemporary society and its fundamental necessity. It is about the concept of utopia, which many understand as an atavism, a useless remnant from the tumult of history or a harmful subversive tool of sentimental malcontents and quixotic irrational revolutionaries. The book was published in cooperation with the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
Dr. sc. Ana Maskalan received her doctorate from the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Since 2006, she has been employed at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
