Summary
Predrag Krstić: Rooting: The Charms of Radicalism
Predrag Krstić's monograph "Rooting" analyzes stylistic and thought figures that use "root" as their basis - rooting, rooting and the like - showing how they function and, not least, with what consequences, in the written legacy of philosophy, literature, anthropology, history and politics. "Radicalism", as a discursive offshoot of roots, is considered the sum of competing "roots" which, depending on the orientation that advocates it, proposes a return to the roots, their eradication or their replanting. Perhaps, however, it is possible to think without, in one way or another, focusing on the root?
