Sophie Hannah: Agatha Kristi: The Closed Casket
Lady Athelinda Playfor hosts a party at her estate in England. As the guests arrive, she calls her lawyer Michael Gedderkoll to draw up a new, amended will disinheriting her children and leaving everything to someone with a few weeks left to live. Among the guests are the famous Belgian detective Poirot and an inspector from Scotland Yard. They don't know why they were called, but they fail to prevent the murder. At the very end, the true identity of the victim and the killer is revealed.
