In the past ten difficult years, overwhelmed by the events in which the new barbarians on this land were mindlessly destroying the results of our half-century of construction and threatening the destruction of everything human - I took on an almost enlightening job, to explain through daily newspapers what is happening and what we have to do for a more humane and meaningful life. I struggled to make my way to readers, because there were few newspaper editors who wanted to publish my articles. And those who accepted them did not persevere, so the cooperation was interrupted, and after "Novi list" (Rijeka), "Feral Tribjuna" (Split) and "Republika" (Zagreb) - I became silent. This is how a cycle of texts was created, many of which were not published, in which I tried to explain the very essence of the relationship between nationalism and democracy.
