Summary
Mario Ruggenini: The Absent God
The author is a full professor of theology at the University of Venice, and this book deals with the topic of faith and human existence in the absence of God. Plato and the idea of good, the paradoxes of philosophy, the paradoxes of Christianity and the treachery of man - these are all plural truths to which the author ties the question of how the truth sets man free. His considerations end with chapters in which the views are presented that speech is the mystery of God and God is the mystery of speech.
