Summary
Hannah Arendt: What is the philosophy of existence?
The name existence means nothing more than human existence. Insofar as Heidegger's "philosophy of life" refers to the philosophy of existence: that name is about as significant as the botany of plants. It's just that it's not by chance that the word 'being' was replaced by the word 'existence'. This terminological change hides one of the basic problems of modern philosophy.
