Noé, Heinrich
Heinrich August Noë (Munich, 16/07/1835 - Bolzano, 26/08/1896) - German novelist and travel writer, a pioneer of modern tourism. Studied comparative literature and natural sciences in Munich and Erlangen. From 1857 to 1863, court librarian in Munich. From 1865 he published a whole series of travelogues. In 1883, he published one of the first guides to Opatija - Abbazia und seine Umgebung.
