Luka Vukojević: Expression of consequential relations in Croatian standard language

Consequential constructions are described in this book at all levels of linguistic analysis: at the level of a simple sentence, at the level of an independent sentence, in conjunctions and juxtaposition, at the level of a dependent sentence and, finally, at the level of the text. All syntactic units that express consequent meanings are exhaustively described: prepositional-case groups, pronominal adverbs and adverbial groups, functional equivalents of consequent clauses, independent clauses of consequential semantics, dependent clauses of conjunctive and non-conjunctive type, and consequential text constructions. It is a description of organizations that undoubtedly belong to the most logically complex and that are extraordinarily diverse. Furthermore, we are talking about structures that are the most difficult to distinguish from similar syntactic structures (causal, modal, comparative, intentional, relative, etc.).
This book also provides a comprehensive overview of the relevant literature on consequent structures in various languages (in Slavic and Romance languages as well as in English and German) and in general linguistic literature.
Consequential structures in the Croatian language have so far been insufficiently described. and imprecise. In fact, from the whole multitude of different types of consequential constructions in grammars and specialized scientific and professional works, only those consequential constructions that could be defined as consequential dependent sentences in the narrower sense have been described so far.
According to this, this book is the first complete description of the way of expressing one of the most complex logical-grammatical meanings in the Croatian language at all levels of syntactic analysis.
All types of consequent constructions are exemplified by numerous examples.
