Summary
Jean Clair: The Artist's Responsibility
The book was written as a response by a well-known French critic and theorist to the numerous exhibitions that took place at the end of the last century in the French capital and in other European centers, and which successively, from different authorial positions, dealt with the relationship between art and political ideologies in environments with totalitarian regimes - from fascism in Spain, Italy, Germany, to communism in the Soviet Union and the countries of the East block.
