Željko Pupavac: The Metaphysics of Communism
"Željko Pupavac's book is a surprisingly sobering read. Pointing to the hidden face of revolution, as the basic way communists came to power, the author pointed to one of the essential characteristics of communism: evil based on an unusual and modern ideology. We agree with his view that "the main credo of the revolution - the inauguration of a new... irreconcilably opposed to the existing (traditional) - is the trigger for the release of psychosocial energy accumulated during the static period". and that communist revolutions are a kind of discharge of collective energy. The experience of contemporaries and legal logic helped the writer to replace the scientific methodology of interpreting this, for Serbs, disastrous ideology. Using the method of posing dilemmas and questions, the author of this study achieved a great effect, pointing out to the reader the need to ask himself about the results of communism in these areas."
