Muhsin Rizvić: Behar - literary and historical monograph

Muhsin Rizvić, Bosniak literary historian and critic (Mostar, 10. IV. 1930 – Sarajevo, 9. VI. 1994).

Graduated (1969) and doctorate (1971) at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, where he was a professor of South Slavic literature. He was engaged in the study of literary creativity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, literary interpretations, the theoretical definition of romanticism, and he also wrote about oral literature. Works: Above and below the text (1969), Behar: literary historical monograph (1971), Literary creation of Muslim writers in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Austro-Hungarian rule (I–II, 1973), Interpretations from romanticism (I–II, 1976–84), Bosnian literary studies (1980), Literary life of Bosnia and Herzegovina between the two wars (I–III, 1980), Overview literature of the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1985), Currents and creators from literary Bosnia (1986), Between the Wolf and the Gaja (1989). His works Panorama of Bosnian Literature (1994) and Bosnian Muslims in Andrić's World (1995) were published posthumously.
