Summary
Filip Kunić: Dictionary of the Latin Illyrian language interpreted for the use of the Bosnian youth
A dictionary of the Latin Illyrian language interpreted for the use of the Bosnian youth (Vienna, 1857) by Filip Kunić, a Bosnian Franciscan and one of the authors of the Croatian adaptations of József Grigel's Latin grammar Institutiones Grammaticae (first edition 1807 - 1809). Since it is about the grammar of the Latin language, in addition to the content structure, the paper examines the Croatian grammatical nomenclature (phonological, morphological and syntactic) and definitions of grammatical names. At the same time, a comparative analysis is also carried out with the grammars of the Latin language, especially those of Antun Mažuranić (1839) and Adolf Veber Tkalčević (1853), which were, along with the grammars of Stjepan Marijanović, a direct model for Kunić's Croatian revision.
