Summary
Josip Deželjin: Etiology of antifascism
The etiology of antifascism in this book is understood as a scientific discipline that understands antifascism as a valuable ideology and a movement that advocates high criteria of individual and general freedoms, that is, rejects theories about more or less valuable people. Certain elements of fascism appeared before the 20th century in the ideas of some philosophers, sociologists and politicians. Fascism gained its full malignant content precisely in that century, beginning with D'Annunzi, and culminating in the expressions and political practice of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler. In Europe, since the twenties of the 20th century, there has been a movement opposing Italian fascism and other fascist and Nazi movements and governments in various countries. Anti-fascism as a supra-party value category opposes neo-fascism and its various forms of revival of fascist ideas, historical rehabilitation of fascism, restoration of fascist elements - national intolerance and aggressiveness.
