Ðuro Deželić was a poet, storyteller, travel writer, author of philosophical treatises and biographies, translator from German, Italian, French and Russian.
He wrote under the pseudonyms: Juraj Mirković, Juraj Ivančanin, Mirković, Stjepan Horvat, Stjepan I., Fedor Posavski, Samohrvat.
He died in Zagreb. 1910..
