Ladislav Ebner, city judge and writer (Varaždin, 1775 — Varaždin, 1851). Son of Leopold Ignatius, composer and organist. After completing his legal studies around 1799, he worked as a notary public. Year In 1822, he was a member of the royal delegation that thanked King Francis I for the unification of the Presava regions with Croatia. On the occasion of the installation of the great prefect of Varaždin County, George VI. Erdődy, gave a speech in 1824 (Dictio qua illustrissimum dominum Georgium é comitibus Erdödy de Monyorókerék), printed in Varaždin probably the same year. In Varaždin, he was a city councilor, deputy city judge, and city judge (chief). As the president of the judicial table, he represented the city of Varaždin at the assembly in Požun. He was the director of all public schools: main, Ursuline and Jewish (1835). Year In 1827, he printed in Varaždin the first historical-statistical monograph of the city of Varaždin in German.
