XXX and three full-page graphics (heliogravure) on inserted unnumbered sheets (plates), each plate has a protective foil. Ten color historical maps on multiple folded sheets at the end of the book. Traces of use, primarily due to the soft covers; damaged covers. An overview of the history of Dalmatia from 1797 to 1815 in the context of the French rule in that area.

Paul Pisani (Paris, 17.4.1852 - Asnières, 7.11.1933) - French historian, Franciscan. He knew the Croatian language to some extent. Published several works on the history of the Croatian area, and was particularly interested in the era of Napoleon's rule.
