Summary
Volume One: Reckoning
Volume Two: The National Socialist Movement
Mein Kampf (My Struggle) is a book by the German Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, which combines elements of autobiography and Hitler's political and ideological views, which later became the principles of Nazi ideology.
The first part, entitled The Reckoning (Die Abrechnung) Hitler dictated in 1924 while serving a prison sentence for a failed coup attempt in 1923 (it was released on July 18, 1925). In it, he combines autobiographical parts with an exposition of his racist ideology, particularly emphasizing anti-Semitism.
In the second part, called The National Socialist Movement (Die Nazionalsocialistiche Bewegung), written after his release from prison at the end of 1924 (it was published in 1926), he deals with the political program of the Nazi party and the methods that will be used to come and stay in power.
