The collection "Glina 1941 - Tragedies and traumas in memory and forgetting" was a long time in the making and went through different phases that were the result of internal debates, re-examinations and the search for the best approach to a large and difficult topic, such as Clay 1941 and not only to the difficult subject in itself, but also to the symbolic burden as well as to the insufficiently scientific approach in processing and to keeping silent and trying to understand things in a political way. SNV president Milorad Pupovac said this on Tuesday at the presentation of the collection of scientific papers "Clay 1941 - Tragedies and traumas in memory and forgetting", which was published jointly by the History Department of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb, the Croatian State Archives and the Serbian National Council. The collection is based on texts from the scientific colloquium "What really happened in the Serbian Orthodox Church in Glin between July 29/30 and August 4/5, 1941: Testimonies and the culture of memory", held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb at the end of June 2012, which were supplemented with new contributions written in collaboration with the book's editors.
