Mirko Bogović: Politische Rückblicke in Bezug auf Kroatien
After the October Diploma (1860) he reentered political life. He participated in the Ban Conference (1860) and was elected as a representative of Zagreb in the Croatian Parliament (1861). It was then that he began to stand up for the union of Croatia with Hungary on the basis of national and political equality, which separated him from his political associates. He presented his political views in the pamphlet Politische Rückblicke in Bezug auf Kroatien (1861). As he was attacked for being Hungarian, he renounces his parliamentary mandate.
