Summary
Cognitive biases may seem like harmless misconceptions, but they are at the root of wars, violence and suffering in all its forms. None of us can solve problems because of all the wrong decisions that are made as a result of cognitive biases. But that's why everyone can contribute, at least within the limits of their capabilities, if they become familiar with this, so common, mechanism of errors. It is likely that in many of the examples given in the book 50 Cognitive Biases You Should Know, we will easily recognize other people, but we will need a lot of strength and courage to recognize ourselves in some places. However, our effort is worth it, because we are taking a good step towards creating a mechanism for making the right decisions, which is important for building one's own personality.
