Mala knjiga za velike roditelje

Milivojević Zoran

Summary

Zoran Milivojević, Katja Bilban, Vida Kokelj, Miša Kramberger, Tjaša Steiner, Borut Kožuh: A small book for big parents

A book by Dr. Zoran Milivojević, a psychotherapist who has been working for more than two decades as a supervisor for educators in various Slovenian youth institutions and groups of Slovenian authors (Katja Bilban, Vida Kokelj, Misa Kramberger, Tjasa Steiner and Borut Kozhuh). A small book for big parents had its first edition of books in the Slovenian language, and since then it has been one of the reference books for local educators and parents and one of the best-selling books. The Serbian edition suffered the same fate. In a very practical and richly illustrated manual, Milivojević's "Mercedes model" is presented, which helps parents and educators find a balance in raising children. The book is a map for the orientation of a modern parent, and the basic principle that guided the authors in writing, and serves as the main message to parents, is the conclusion that education is not only understanding and yielding, nor only limiting and punishing, but a combination of requirements, affection and limitations. The answers the book offers are not theoretical discussions, but clear and proven life experiences about how to raise a child to get what you want, how to reward and punish a child, whether you should criticize or praise the child as a person or his actions, how the child is neither spoiled nor too obedient ...

* Why won't the child do useful things?

* Why does the child think you don't love him when you don't let him?

* How to reward the child?

* Is criticism enough?

* How to punish?
