Summary
The Gospel of John Paul II.
This book invites us to read the Gospels in communion with the Pope whom everyone wants to be a saint. He invites us to read the Gospel listening to his words and to use them to try to understand how Wojtyla as a believer lived his own everyday life based on the words of the Holy Scriptures.
Day by day, from the mystery of Christ's birth to Calvary and Resurrection, the Pope introduces us to the mystery of the Christian proclamation and invites us to realize it in everyday, both dark and bright, moments of life and not to interpret it as some "distant" Word, but as a Word that became flesh.
The Pope says: "In the history of salvation, God's action does not take place above human heads - God does not impose salvation, but calls man to know God and through him to grasp the Mystery of love perfectly realized in Christ".
