It seems that when we approach the topic of engagement, the dictionary form, at least preliminarily, is the most appropriate. The use of the term "engagement" in different languages and contexts today has experienced such a proliferation that many authors, rightly, avoid defining it unambiguously. The engagement extends through different spheres of our reality, from private engagements, through jobs, contracts, public performances and participation in the social and political life of the community, to the execution of military orders. On its way, engagement seems to move between or transcends classic questions that would help define it, such as questions of passivity and activity, individual and collective, strict duties and flexibility, etc. On the other hand, for engagement as a specific type of activity, dedication and involvement in what we do, there is no other suitable term to explain this phenomenon, so, despite all its complexity, there is a need for its understanding. does not lose its importance.
