"Dear colleagues and colleagues,
this textbook is a concise framework for lectures on Croatian autobiographical prose. Within three larger chapters, I tried to ensure a simpler monitoring of the changes that took place in autobiographical prose at the level of expression and content from the period of Romanticism to I did this through synthetic narratological and poetic analyzes of autobiographical texts of a literary period, through the presentation of generic-typological specifics of autobiographical prose, to several draft interpretations of books written in the first person which were the focus of her interest. is in the form of lectures, trying to follow the tradition of teaching at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. I think it is necessary to focus on dialogue with students and doctoral students, and the meaning of my lectures is to bring creative liveliness and noise into the spaces within which they are realized a dynamic part of the teaching process then becomes a training ground for different opinions and provocations, so the student will be the one who will encourage the professor with many questions to fresher spiritual activism than now. I hope that the lectures published in this book will initiate a mutual dialogue that will encourage and guide you and me towards new knowledge." ~ Author
