Photo author Ivo pervan Ivan Krstitelj Ranger (1700-1753) is a representative of the painting of the Pauline order who in his short life created superb works of art, mostly in church buildings in northwestern Croatia. The book shows eleven religious buildings on which Ranger painted frescoes, among others the chapel of St. John the Baptist in Gorica, church of St. Mary of the Snows in Belac and the chapel of St. Anthony of Padua in the Franciscan church in Varaždin.
