Summary
Toman Brajović: The National Liberation Struggle in the Works of Visual Artists of Yugoslavia
The National Liberation Struggle (NOB) in the works of visual artists of Yugoslavia represents one of the most important thematic corpus of Yugoslav art of the 20th century, which includes partisan graphics created during the war itself, post-war socialist realism, and later monumental modernism. This theme was officially codified through traditional exhibitions and monographs of the same name (such as the famous edition whose editor was Toman Brajović in the edition of Invalidski list) which collected and evaluated works dedicated to the revolution.
