Peter Chancellor began his writing career after his doctoral thesis on the secret dealings of American moguls with the German Reich was rejected. After the first one, a series of bestsellers followed in which various political secrets and behind-the-scenes games were exposed. But Chancellor's actions do not go unnoticed - he is followed by members of the powerful secret organization Inver Brass. The murder of the man who held the American spy network in his hands is the beginning of Peter's problems.
