Summary
Robert Jordan: Coming of Shadow
The wheel of time turns and Ages come and go, leaving behind memories that become legends. Legends fade into myths, and myths are long forgotten when the Age that spawned them reappears. In the Third Age, the Age of Prophecy, the World and Time hang in the balance. All that was, all that will be, and all that is can still fall under the Shadow. Qalandor is in the hands of Rand al'Thor, prisoner of the Light and Dragon Reborn. The Stone of Tire fell before the strongest ta'veren of this Age and his people. Now the Dragon Reborn follows another prophecy that lies within the warrior tribe known as the Aieli. While Perrin deals with the forces of Darkness in the Two Rivers, Rand, accompanied by Moiraine, Matt and Egwene, arrives in the Aiel Wastes, and the Wise give him permission to enter Ruidean, the holy city of the Aiels. Matt and Moiraine follow in his footsteps. The Aes Sedai inside the ter'angreal get a glimpse of the possible development of future events, and the Aiel await the Dragon-marked Rand. By receiving them on both hands, he would confirm that He Who Comes With Dawn is the supreme leader of all the Aiel. However, some of Ruidean never returned... With all eyes on him, Rand al'Thor sets out to surprise friend and foe alike and prove that any trap can catch the one who sets it.
