Pierre Drier la Rochelle (1893-1945) is one of the most romantic writers between the two world wars. Like the hero of "Ignite" Alan, he also ended his life by suicide. In 1963, Louis Malle made the film "The Wandering Flame" based on this novel. "Goodbye Gonzaga" is the conclusion of the book, found in the author's archive after his death.
